HANAUSKA – 2018/2019
These photographs attest to the difficulty of communication that I experienced as an immigrant in Austria. The first two years in my new country was very difficult, isolated by language and lack of work, my solitude was the polar opposite of life in my motherland. In order to break the window of my room on Hanauskagasse street near one of the busiest train stations in Vienna.
Milad Gorgin (b.1983) is an Iranian photographer based in Vienna. He got his master’s degree in fashion and textile design from the Art University of Yazd. He began his career as a photojournalist with Iranian news agencies and magazines in 2008. Milad is known for his artistic approaches and his photographs focus on immigration consequences specifically about refugees.
