The Summer Blues – An Introduction to Cyanotype Printing with Yasmin Nebenführ

Cyanotype is an alternative photographic process — a chemical, camera-less technique where vibrant white-on-blue images are created with sunlight.

Join photo-media artist Yasmin Nebenführ for an introductory workshop in which methods for creating cyanotype prints will be explored. Participants will learn the fundamentals of this historical process, and experiment with objects and materials to create their own sun-printed artworks.

Participants are encouraged to bring personal objects, such as pressed flowers, bird feathers, film negatives, jewellery, or lace fabrics.
