This work was born from the discovery of analogue photographs that show landscapes related to my childhood. Each photograph was suspended a few centimeters from a scanner’s reading surface, positioned at different heights compared to the intensity of one’s memory and digitized in this way. In an attempt to translate the temporal thickness, scanning becomes a tool for measuring distance, in which the physical void is nothing but the projection of the emotional one.
